“Set aspirational goals for yourself! Don’t set out for something that you know is achievable. Be a dreamer,” says Aniruddha Guruprasad. Fondly known as Ani amongst his peers, started his career as a Graduate Trainee at Metro Cash & Carry India managing the Beverages, Wines, Spirits & Tobacco section. Post Metro C&C, he built Zomato and moved up the ranks to Regional Sales Head for Mumbai along with assisting in international expansion for the company.
Building on his experience in the foodtech space he also led the expansion for South India and Sri Lanka with Uber India post his stint at Zomato. Currently, he is enabling financial independence for underserved Indians as Vice President at Siply.
The one thing that keeps him on his toes and pushes him to work harder is always setting very high targets for himself. He recommends THIS as a golden rule to everyone, at any stage of their careers.
