“If you want to create a better world you have to see the good in others and believe the best in yourself,” says Satish Manchikanti.
Satish was clueless about the career he wanted to pursue after his graduation. On a quest to find meaning and purpose, he started to work with Iranian refugees (among other things) in the UK, moved onto leadership development space in India after that, and through a long-winded journey, he feels he's there where he wants to be now. Satish is currently running one of the largest social action movements in India, called U&I, and a leadership development firm called ChangePlus.
He believes with utmost honesty that individuality plays a tremendous role in having a fulfilling career. “What I do today is an extension of who I am, what I believe in, and what gives me meaning and purpose. If you're able to align your passion with your professional purpose, that's when you're at your best.”
