Souryojit, fondly known as SG amongst his peers, started off as a relationship manager in the wealth management business at ICICI Bank. He then moved into the food and fintech space working with companies like Zomato, Delhivery, and BharatPe, and is currently at Dineout, where he is heading the entire B2C business. This includes user growth, retention, supply & payments growth.
Asking for help and acknowledging that sometimes, it takes more than one person to do the job is difficult. We assume people do not wish to help, but it’s often just as rewarding for them (heard of a helper’s high?) but make sure you return the favour someday.
He takes pride in living with a never say die attitude which has played a big role in shaping his career. It has helped him sail through the toughest times, and keep that drive alive despite all odds.
